"I had a really positive experience buying a car from LS Autos and would happily recommend them.
From the moment I arrived there was absolutely no pressure. I was handed the keys and simply told to let them know when I was ready for a test drive, then they left me to look around the car in my own time. There were no pushy sales tactics at all, and I was even trusted to take the car out for a solo test drive.
I had run a CarVertical check before viewing and it flagged a mileage discrepancy. When I raised this, Joe was more than happy to go through all of the paperwork with me. The service history and receipts were incredibly comprehensive – there was so much history it barely fitted in the folder – and everything backed up the mileage, which gave me real confidence in the car.
The buying process itself was just as straightforward. They were happy to accept payment by bank transfer, even letting me do a £1 test payment first. When my bank unexpectedly blocked the main transfer, they were patient and understanding, giving me all the time and space I needed to get it sorted. They also helped me arrange the road tax and let me use their WiFi so I could set up the insurance before driving away.
There were no hidden admin charges or surprise fees, and no pressure to buy extras. The car already came with a 6-month warranty included, and extending it was simply offered as an option rather than a hard sell.
Joe was great to deal with throughout and has genuinely restored my faith that there are still honest, professional used car dealers out there. The car drove perfectly on the hour-long journey home and I'm delighted with it. Hopefully I won't need any aftersales support, but based on my experience so far, I have every confidence that if I do, they'll deal with it professionally.
